Cimarron 1873 in .44-40

This particular model was sold by Cimarron as the “Texas Brush Popper” model of 1873 Winchester. 18″ barrel with a half hexagon and half round barrel profile. The weight reduction toward the muzzle makes it a very handy setup.

It does have some dings on it since it has been used. I have personally fired about 150 rounds through it but I bought it used. The previous owner had not shot it much, if at all. In any case this is a very low mileage 1873.

It is chambered in .44-40 or 44 WCF (Winchester Center Fire), the actual cartridge that won the west, and it shoots great. I just don’t shoot it much.

$1300. These things are selling for over $1700 since Cimarron isn’t importing them at the moment.

Includes a hard case and a Turnbull scope mount that replaces the rear sight with a short rail. Not really looking for trades but might consider a nice Garand.
