I have received multiple emails regarding SCAM posts on the site, and while I do not have the resources to look into the claims as thoroughly as I would like, I do want y’all to know I take this very seriously, so I will be deleting the posts I’ve been told about, and at that time, if they are indeed legit, they can easily repost them again with the new rules.

I want to ensure that this does not become a consistent issue.

Therefore, I am going to ask that EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU that posts ANYTHING for sale, to please, take a second to write JANESGUNS.COM on a slip of paper, and include this piece of paper in the photo of your firearm or item for sale.

This is the simple and easy way to ensure that the poster is legit selling a firearm or item that is in their possession and will at least allow us all to weed out a majority of the scams.

I will be making a post including this new requirement and will get it out to all emails that have signed up, allowing a little while for the news to spread and I ask everyone to repost their ads with updated pictures showing JANESGUNS.COM in the photo. After some time, I will ask that any listing without the slip saying JANESGUNS.COM be reported so I can delete the ad and the user right away.
