SEMI-AUTO GUN BAN IN STATE OF NEW MEXICO - SB 279
State legislators are about to screw us with SB279 and SB318. SB279 outlaws the sale, purchase, and possession of gas operated firearms as defined by the state attorney. And sales, purchase and possession of magazines over 10 round capacity. SB 318 allows anybody to sue a firearm manufacturer, distributor or dealer for advertising a firearm. From what I understand, none of the local dealers would be able to get insurance, and would have to go out of business. Please call or email your state representative. Here’s an easy link to send a letter to our representatives showing your opposition to SB 279. As the previous ad states, this bill would ban ALL gas operated firearms (ARs, AKs, most pistols, many shotguns, etc), as well as any mags over 10 rounds. It’d also “allow” you to keep these firearms or magazines IF you register them.
